Litter pick organiser volunteer
Engage local volunteers and others to do a couple of hours picking litter and generally do a tidy up.
Duties:
Set the date and time of the pick. Advertise the event to the local community. Send reminders and communicate clearly what is to be done. Arrange equipment and safety by working through a risk assessment. Organise refreshments and equipment to be there on time. Attend the event. Encourage attendees. Bring maps and allocate locations. Ensure people are fed and thanked. Send thank you messages after the event, and share learnings for the next volunteer led event.
