Site Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical advice and engineering support on site
• Set out, level and survey construction works
• Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy
• Ensure materials and workmanship comply with specifications
• Monitor design documents and technical information
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project teams
• Assist with day-to-day site operations and supervision of works
• Maintain site records, reports and engineering documentation
• Support health, safety, quality and environmental compliance
• Resolve technical issues and contribute to successful project delivery
Essential Requirements:
• Minimum HND qualification in a construction engineering discipline
• CSCS Card
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in an engineering role within the construction industry
• Proven track record of project delivery
• Excellent IT skills and experience using a range of software packages
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively within project teams
Desirable Requirements:
• MCIOB or other relevant professional accreditation
• Experience working on projects valued at £5m+
• Experience within building contracts
• Strong commercial awareness
