Trainee HGV Driver

Trainee HGV Driver will be put through their HGV licence thereafter automatically becoming HGV Driver on passing test which brings with it a salary of £34,000-£38,500 plus £50 per week bonus

Duties:

Trainee HGV Driver (ordinary driving licence) will drive 3.5 ton vehicle carrying out

• Multi- Drops across the city and Central Belt
• Working in a geographical fashion
• Working to timescales
• Trainee Driver will commence work at an hourly rate of £13.00 per hour plus £1.00 an hour bonus
• contracted for 38 hrs per week
• Start times either 6.00am until 3.00pm or 7.00am until 4.00pm 
• Must be able to be at Depot for start times

Essential Requirements:

• Full clean driving licence for over 2 years
• Age 21yrs and upwards
• Physically fit as lifting heavy loads
• Able to work alone and use initiative when required
• Friendly manner and engage well with customers
• Deliver a high-quality customer service
• Good written and verbal English
